While he remained dazed, Sabrina curled up in bed again and went back to sleep.
Sebastian asked, "What's wrong? You're not feeling well?"
With her back facing him, she raised her arm that was bruised with purple hickeys and hit his chest. He caught her arm in his and stopped her. Her skin was s o soft and smooth, he felt like she would bruise it if he pressed any harder. He scooped her out of bed, forcing her to face him and asked her seriously. "Are you sick?"
Sabrina shook her head, blushing deeply. She lowered her head and rested it on his chest. He laughed lightly. "You're already a mother, why are you still so shy!"
"I'm not!" she mumbled.
"Then why are you still sleeping? You usually don’t sleep this much!" Sebastian was worried she was hiding something from him.
Sabrina answered him honestly. "I'm not working anymore. Why should I get up so early?"
"What do you mean not working anymore?" he asked her.
Sabrina replied, "I was fired. Even if I wasn't, with just the rumors about me online, I'll be drowning in spit
the minute I walk out the door."
Sabrina wanted a job desperately, she wanted to work and earn a salary through her own effort. Only then would she feel stable. But in South City, she kept facing difficulties in the workplace.
"You can go to work," he answered.
