"Thank you, Aunt Lewis." Sabrina smiled.
"Mommy, I was late to kindergarten today.” Aino looked at her mother, slightly unhappy.
"I’m sorry baby, I won’t wake up late again next time." Sabrina apologized immediately.
Sebastian said to Aino solemnly, "Your Mommy was sick yesterday. Have you forgotten already!"
"Oh." Aino nodded. Right then, Aunt Lewis placed a small glass plate in front of Sabrina. "Madam, this is the black truffle that Sir brought back from Kidon City. Please eat it while it's hot."
Black truffle? Sabrina never tasted it, but she heard of i t before. She heard that a small bowl of it could cost u p to about ten thousand dollars? She looked at Sebastian. "Why...why would you get me something so expensive?”
Before he could answer, Aino immediately jumped up and questioned her father, "Hmph! You said you came back early, and didn’t have time to buy me toys, but you bought Mommy such expensive and delicious food! Daddy, you're biased!"
Sabrina didn't know why but she felt a warmth in her chest. Sebastian looked at his daughter calmly. "Don't you feel lonely?"
Aino frowned. "What do you mean!" "You're alone, don't you feel lonely!"
Aino did not say anything. Sebastian said, "One day, when you have brothers and sisters and you’re the oldest, you can hit whoever you want and order them around. Won’t that make you happy?"
"Wow! Really? I can have brothers and sisters?" Aino asked.
"If your Mommy's health can improve, you can have many!" Sebastian spooned a spoonful of scrambled eggs into his mouth and said slowly.
