With rosy cheeks, Yvonne agreed, "Alright, Director Shaw."
As she watched this, Sabrina was completely speechless. What kind of person would forget her friend just like that after being smitten by love?
Nevertheless, it made her feel relieved as well.
After all, she knew what kind of person Marcus was. Although Sabrina did not like Old Master Shaw, she had to admit that his grandson was a very decent character, and had never fooled around with women. I n fact, she could even say that Marcus was much more dependable than Nigel and Ryan when it came t o romantic relationships.
As such, if Yvonne could marry Marcus, it would be a happy ending for her.
With this in mind, Sabrina started to smile when she watched the four of them walk off.
"Your two best friends?” Sebastian suddenly asked.
Sabrina turned to him and replied, "Not really best friends. Just acquaintances from work. Both of them have been quite kind to me, especially Ruth. She's a very nice person.”
Sabrina concealed the fact that Ruth had once bullied her.
At this point, she felt that it was unnecessary to bring i t up.
After all, with Ruth being so open-minded now, Sabrina could tell that she was a careless and honest person, and to some extent was quite pitiful as well.
"Mmm." Deciding not to press any further, Sebastian simply told her, "You don’t have many friends. You can invite them over to the house if you'd like.”
Sabrina's eyes suddenly widened. Did she mishear him?
Meanwhile, Sebastian looked back at her with a calm expression.
Sabrina managed to stammer out, "Just... for this matter?"
Instead of answering, Sebastian lifted his wrist to look at his watch. "I have a meeting at noon, so I'll get going now."
Her brief conversation with Sebastian left her completely dumbfounded.
After watching his car drive off from the window shutters, Sabrina picked up the phone to call Ruth and Yvonne respectively.
