The person on the other end of the call had a rather nervous tone. "Miss Scott, it would be better for you to come and see for yourself."
Sabrina immediately replied, "Alright.”
She had the premonition that someone was here to pick a fight with her again.
After taking a deep breath, she stood up and headed out of the office.
Suddenly, a few colleagues called out from behind her.
"Sabrina..."
"Sabrina, be careful."
"Sabrina, do you want me to accompany you? If someone dares to bully and pick a fight with you, the whole design department will have your back!"
After the past week, the people from the design department had started to get along quite well with Sabrina.
They had come to the realisation that without the pretentious Linda and those other nosy gossipers, they were able to experience an enjoyable atmosphere in the workplace.
In addition, they had found that Sabrina was actually very easy to get along with. Though people who were
not close to her might mistake her for being constantly aloof, Sabrina was actually quite pleasant. She was the kind of person who would help you without saying a word if you asked a favor from her.
She was also someone who would genuinely feel happy herself from watching another person smile.
As her colleagues gradually became closer to her, they asked her how she could be this selfless.
Sabrina replied, "I am not completely selfless. What kind of person would be selfless now? I... have always yearned to make friends since I was a child. When I was young, my family was poor and my father passed away very early on, so a lot of kids looked down on me and ostracised me.
