Sabrina looked at Sebastian with a puzzled expression. "Hmm? What... What do you mean?"
Sebastian sighed before repeating himself. "I’ve already told you a few days ago. I want you to invite your best friends over to the house.”
His words left Sabrina in a daze.
Yes, he was right, he did say that. However, not thinking that he was being serious at the time, Sabrina had turned a deaf ear to his words and did not think much of it afterwards.
After a moment, she turned around and looked at Sebastian solemnly. He really had changed drastically. For some reason, he now even felt concerned for her best friends.
"You’re acting a bit weird," Sabrina suddenly remarked.
Unlike the day before yesterday, when Sebastian had brought her out to try on the luxury dresses, she didn't feel afraid to speak her mind at all.
Seeing as he didn't reply her, Sabrina continued to ask, "What happened?" 1
"Nothing!"
Despite hearing his brief answer, Sabrina still didn't believe that nothing was going on. She could only
assume that it was her fault. "Is it because the Ford family doesn't want to acknowledge me, and so they're unhappy with you bringing me to the old residence to meet their friends and relatives?”
Seeing as Sebastian was silent again, Sabrina thought her guess was right. "It's okay! I don't really want to go either. I am actually terrified of the old Ford residence. Every single one of my visits there has ended up being a terrible experience, so it's fine if we don’t attend the banquet. It's not really important to m e. I just want Aino to have a complete family, and..."
As she spoke, Sabrina turned to glance at Sebastian.
She genuinely did mean what she said. "As long as our family of three can be together, I could care less about formalities. They don't matter at all."
