When Yvonne arrived downstairs, she then recalled something and said to Ruth, "Ruth, I want to give Sabrina a call."
Ruth immediately nodded, "Mm-hmm, this was so we could be a little safer, right?"
Yvonne took out her phone and dialed Sabrina. On the other end, Sabrina picked up the call quickly. "Yvonne, let me guess. You must be sitting in Marcus' car right now, right?"
"Sabrina, tell me, where are you now?" asked Yvonne.
Sabrina was speechless.
She was sitting in Kingston's car.
There was only Aino next to her, and Sebastian was not there.
When they were about to leave an hour ago, Sebastian was called by Old Master Ford who said that there was an urgent matter.
Sebastian hurriedly arranged for Kingston to wait for the mother-daughter duo to pack up, and he drove to the old residence by himself first.
"Sabrina, you didn’t answer me. It clearly meant Sebastian was not by your side, right?” Yvonne seemed to have figured something out.
Sabrina's heart also sank a little. "Yvonne, how did you know?"
Yvonne's laughter was very sweet in a way that there was not the slightest bit of fear. "Sabrina, I finally could understand your feeling of being alone in a wealthy family. A wealthy family was truly not a worry -free place. However, no matter how severe the trials were, Ruth and I would stand shoulder to shoulder with you!"
Ruth, who was at the side, also nodded with all her might.
Sabrina asked lightly, "Yvonne, could it be that Master Shaw was called away by Old Master Shaw at the last minute? Master Ryan didn't come to pick up Ruth either, right?"
Yvonne replied, "That was right! It seemed that they had thought of some silly ideas again!
"However, I was not afraid."
"I am a shrew. A shrew who feared nothing and no one!"
