"Perfect! Well, you won't have to kneel on the washboard anymore, but you still need to bring Aino t o my side as soon as possible," Sabrina said softly.
"Alright." Compared to earlier, Sebastian's voice was much more gentle now.
Then, he raised his head to look at the thirty subordinates present.
None of them dared to even make noise when breathing.
There was a rumour that said Master Sebastian may b e ruthless when it came to business, but he was absolutely terrified of his wife.
This time, they had witnessed it for themselves.
Whatever his wife ordered Master Sebastian to do, he would do without question!
The rumors were indeed true.
"Bye bye, dear." After a long call, Sabrina finally bid him goodbye, mainly because she was afraid that she would get in the way of his rest.
"Be careful, make sure to hire a taxi when you go from the hotel to your old house. Tell the driver you'll pay him two thousand dollars for an entire day's service and ask him to wait there for you," Sebastian instructed.
"Got it, dear!" With that, Sabrina hung up the phone.
Sebastian's heart skipped a beat.
He knew that Sabrina had always been independent, and that she could take care of herself wherever she went. However, he still felt uneasy about the fact that she was going back to her hometown that she hadn't visited in 15 years.
Nevertheless, he had to act quickly.
After turning off his phone, Sebastian looked at the subordinates present with a calm look and ordered, "G o on!"
One of them immediately spoke. "Master Sebastian, it must have been Old Master Shaw’s doing. It’s the only explanation as to how they had managed to escape so smoothly.”
Another person nodded in agreement. "He’s right, Old Master Shaw must have been responsible for the arrangements."
Shortly afterwards, a third subordinate spoke up." Would the old master help the island and fight against us instead?"
"Master Sebastian, what do you think?"
Sebastian had been silent throughout their discussion, but when his subordinates asked him, he immediately nodded and replied, "You’re right! Old Master Shaw must have been involved, otherwise they couldn't have escaped."
