All these years, Marcus held on to his wishful thinking that Sabrina was the Shaw family's granddaughter, and yet Old Master Shaw kept hurting her. It wasn’t just Sabrina, anyone else in her position would be equally irate and incensed.
And what's more, Sabrina wasn't a greedy woman.
Marcus apologized to her sincerely. "I’m sorry...”
Sabrina didn't take it to heart. "It’s alright, I know you meant well. Enough about me, how are you and Yvonne?"
At the mention of Yvonne, a smile appeared on his face. "She's very interesting, cute and lively."
"Then be nice to her. Her cousin is Sebastian's top bodyguard cum driver. If you harm her in any way, her cousin will cut you into teeny tiny little pieces of meat!"
Marcus laughed. "I know, I would never dare go against her wishes, I will treat Yvonne like a princess."
Sabrina laughed. "That's more like it!"
After a pause, she looked at Nigel again. "Master Nigel, you should go home. Thank you for your concern, but my husband can solve this problem. You don't have to intervene, otherwise your life could be deeply affected. I hope you find a good girlfriend in the future
and live a happy life."
Nigel said softly, a hint of loneliness in his voice." You're so happy now."
"Of course," Sabrina admitted openly.
"Your mother..." Nigel stopped mid-sentence.
Recently he had grown close to Marcus and Marcus was dating Yvonne, that was how Marcus learned of the situation with Sabrina's mother.
At the mention of her mother, Sabrina was obviously disappointed. "She...her whereabouts are still unknown.”
