Sabrina did not know what to say.
Sebastian liked to be alone, so Sabrina usually had her meals outside. This was also why Aunt Tianna rarely came over.
She had not expected to find her waiting for her in the dining room.
Aunt Tianna smiled as she brought out a small pot from the kitchen, walking as she said, "This chicken was brought over fresh from my village, and It's been stewing for an entire afternoon. Try it, it's heated and fresh off the cooker."
Sabrina smiled. "Okay, thank you Aunt Tianna."
She had not eaten home cooked food for a long time, and a stewed chicken would be very good for the child in her belly. 1
She was also very hungry.
Caught up in her quarrel with Lincoln, she had not noticed at all.
The fulfilling dinner satisfied her well. She had initially been feeling dejected, but thanks to the food a s well as the way Sebastian had treated her throughout the day, she slept soundly for the first time in quite a while.
When she awoke the next day, Sabrina was hesitant to
step outside, worried about encountering Sebastian. One of the benefits of their indifference toward each other was that he tended to ignore her, and as such, she did not have to greet him with a smile daily.
Now that his attitude towards her had changed, she did not know how she was supposed to greet him.
Despite her bashfulness, Sabrina still had to get up. She needed to wash up and head over to the hospital before leaving for work. 1
As she stepped out of the bedroom, she noticed that the hall was quiet. She looked around before realising that there was no one around.
The man must have already left.
As the person with the highest position in Ford Group, it was typical that he wouldn't normally have much free time. 1
Sabrina went through her usual morning routine. She first headed to the hospital, visiting Aunt Grace before going off to work. Given that the director was still not around, and because she had put her on a pedestal in front of everyone yesterday, Sabrina’s working experience would continue to be foul.
Other than just doing odd jobs, she had become a runner as well.
