"You... Do you mean it?" Selene looked tearfully at Sebastian.
"I do."
"But you don’t love me, the one you love is Sabrina. I don’t want to force your hand, and I don't want the child in my belly to do that either. I just don't want to abort my child. I won’t follow you back, I will go far away." Selene shook her head as she cried.
"I’ve told you that I would marry you, that you would b e my only wife. The child in your belly will be the future successor of Ford Group." Saying that, Sebastian carried her into the check up room.
Selene was speechless, her face still full of tears.
However, nestled in Sebastian's embrace, she knew she had won.
She had scored a complete victory.
Behind them, Lincoln and Jade exchanged a look of understanding.
The results after her check up in the gynecology department were released after a short while. Selene really was pregnant, and had been for over ten months. It had happened right after that night Sebastian had spent with her.
The doctor informed Sebastian that the fetus was
growing well. He added that the mother's body was a little weak and required proper rest. She should not be angered or saddened. 1
A sad mother would not be good for the growth of the baby.
After receiving the instructions, Sebastian carried Selene out. He did not put her down at all throughout the entire way.
In his embrace, Selene felt an indescribable sense of sweetness, as if she was drunk and floating in the clouds.
