But she did not want to leave Ryan alone either.
Ruth looked at the three beautiful ladies and the little girl in front of her awkwardly, at a loss for what to do.
Right at that moment, Sebastian's call came in. Sabrina answered immediately, "Sebastian?"
"Can you come home now? And bring Jane along too. Alex is here with me." Sebastian said.
"Oh, sure. I'm on my way," Sabrina answered.
Ending the call, she looked at Ruth, acting as if she did not want Ruth to leave. "Ruth, you're not married yet and you’re already so compliant to Ryan's every demand. What will you do once the two of you get married.”
"Come on, Sabrina." Ruth's face flushed red instantly.
"Alright, alright, I'm just joking. Go on, Ryan is waiting for you."
"Okay!" Ruth blushed and headed outside to hail a taxi.
"You little wench. Running off after getting all the benefits...” Behind her, Sabrina laughed.
She had no choice but to take Aino and Jane home.
The moment she entered the door, Jane could feel the thick homely atmosphere enveloping the apartment.
The spacious living room was filled with the signs of its young inhabitant.
"Aunt Jane, do you like my home?" Aino asked, holding Jane's hand and firing off question after question in her direction. At this moment, Aino looked closer to Jane than she was to her own mother.
Following behind them, Sabrina held bags of all shapes and sizes in her hands.
