The woman in the kitchen was incredibly virtuous. Aino followed her around like a little tail as she busied herself around the kitchen. "Aunt Jane, the steamed clams that my Mommy wanted, are they ready now? I want to try one now."
"Hehe." Jane laughed at her antics. "It's hot. I'll prepare one for you but wait for it to cool down first, okay?”
Aino nodded immediately. "Okay, Aunt Jane."
Jane took one out for Aino and put it on a little plate for it to cool down. A minute later, she took it onto her fork and carefully stuck the fork into Aino's mouth.
The little girl ate with gusto.
Jane watched her with gusto too, as if the food was in her own mouth.
In the living room, when the two men saw this scene, a smile appeared on Sebastian's face.
While Alex’s expression showed his mixed feelings.
Did he not want children?
He did!
But he really did not want to have children with Jane.
Because he did not want to hurt her.
Somewhere, deep in his heart, he still missed her, that woman he could not forget.
Within an hour, Jane had a sumptuous meal ready on the table.
The food looked even more delicious than the food they ate in the mall that afternoon, and most importantly, Alex loved them all.
Even with the two ladies, Sabrina and Aino, looking o n, Alex ate with gusto, not at all trying to maintain image.
Seeing him inhaling his food, Aino polished off her plate too.
Alex nicknamed this meal ‘The Last Supper'.
