Sabrina replied in a cold and detached voice. "When, what time?"
“Four in the afternoon!"
"Fine, I'll be there on one a condition," Sabrina said, "D o not bother Aunt Grace, or I won’t play nice with you!"
Selene laughed savagely. "Haha! Sabrina, you seem to really think that Grace is your mother now. Don't forget, you're the fake, and I’m the real one. Grace is m y fiance's mother after all, how could I hurt her? Aren't you getting worried over nothing?"
"It's good that you remember she's your mother-in-law. I'll be there at four." Sabrina hung up the phone after saying that. 1
Just as she was about to tidy up her office before looking for a stall to have lunch, Sabrina's phone rang again. Thinking that it was Selene again, she had started to get irritated. Checking the phone, however, she realized that it was an unknown number. She composed herself before picking up. "Hello, who is this?"
"Madam." Kingston's voice came from the other end.
Sabrina blushed, her tone brightening up as well." Kingston, you know that I'm just faking this, you don’t have to call me madam. Just call me Sabrina. Are you looking for me?" 1
Kingston replied through the phone, "Head down to the reception on the first floor right now."
"Yes? Go where, what are we doing?"
Her heart suddenly started pounding as she thought o f something. Surely Sebastian had not come all the way to her company just to invite her out for lunch? 1
She did not dare to go down.
After all, this was her workplace. She did not want to invite such gossip on her.
"The young master is very busy today," Kingston's voice cut through her thoughts from the phone.
"Oh..." Sabrina felt somewhat amused at the sense of disappointment emerging from her heart.
"He was not able to leave himself, so he asked me to order delivery for you for lunch and have it delivered t o your company. The delivery man just called me earlier, he's just arrived. You can head on down to get i t. It’s the first time I'm ordering delivery for you though, so I’m not sure if it'll suit your tastes." Kingston's tone was gentle and thoughtful. 1
