Sabrina was speechless.
She did not know how to explain this to Sebastian. She realized that the situation had been set up as a trap by the Lynn family, and she had jumped right in.
She had no arguments to make.
Furthermore, even if she were to explain, Sebastian would not believe her.
Sabrina was stunned silent, unable to say a word.
"If anything happens to Selene or the Lynn family from today on, I won't mind having another life on my hands. I will make sure you die a painful death." Sebastian's tone was metallic and unemotional as he spoke to Sabrina. He left after that, supporting Selene.
Sabrina's thoughts were in a complete mess.
She knew that those words were not empty.
She had seen for herself how he handled his enemies. He was someone who could be extremely gentle, but h e could also be as cruel as hell.
He would do what he said, and would never soften his heart.
Sabrina looked over at Sebastian. He was holding up Selene as he walked toward Henry.
Her head resting against his shoulder, Selene turned t
o look back at Sabrina, shooting her a look of complete victory.
A smile that was incomparably devious.
Before turning back to face Henry, she put back on her pitiful, crying expression. "O-Old Master Ford, hello."
"Grandfather, this is my fiance, Selene." Sebastian's tone was calm.
He had said it in such a matter of fact manner that the Ford family realized that in bringing Selene to Henry, he was not seeking old master's approval, but rather t o let him know that he already had a fiance. 2
