Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 980

Sebastian did not intend to go easy on Axel despite the fact that he had been rendered speechless. The one whom Sebastian owed his life to was the old Master Shaw, not Axel. The only reason why Axel thought he could stand there and confront Sebastian was solely because he was taking advantage of his partnership with the old Master Shaw. As easy as that might sound, it would be more challenging for him to escape the situation he had gotten himself into. One assault after another, starting from Emma's merciless attack on Sabrina to Axel trying to kill Sebastian, Sebastian didn't even have the chance to confront Axel before. Now that he came to Sebastian on his own, Sebastian would not let him off easily.

With a voice as cold and composed as ever, Sebastian deadpanned, "Mr. Poole, your hatred towards me has shown in every way possible. You sent your daughter t o seduce me ten years ago, and when she failed, she became resentful towards me. Just how stupid do you think a man who was exiled overseas with no right to family legacies like me could be? Did you really think that I would date a girl, whose father was an uncle who could even harm my blood brother? If you are this merciless with your own nephew, just how nice could you be with me?"

Axel remained silent.

"When you realized that your daughter wasn't going to

succeed and Alex's power grew as days went by, you had no choice but to be patient and wait. Finally, you caught a chance half a year ago when Selene reached out to your daughter and plotted against my wife. You did not hesitate before letting Emma go, despite the fact that she fully intended on killing my wife! Are you really not aware of all that?"

There wasn't a trace of anger in Sebastian's voice or expression, but the words alone were enough to send chills down Axel's spine. He could sense that Sebastian knew every single detail of all the things he and his daughters had done, and the only reason Sebastian refrained from moving against him was simply because he was waiting for Axel to fall into his trap. Sebastian truly was brilliant in keeping his temper at bay. A ruthless man who could exercise absolute control over himself and remain a composed demeanor on the outside. Suddenly, Axel was overwhelmed by the realization that he was no match to Sebastian now that they were standing face to face. Axel aside, even Alex might not be able to compare to Sebastian. At that very moment, Axel regretted coming to confront Sebastian. He had originally thought that Sebastian was in the wrong for taking such an enormous amount of weapons from him, but now it seemed as though Sebastian had been waiting for Axel to come find him.

"Most importantly, this time..." Sebastian decided to bring the conversation back to the main topic. "This time, you continuously sent weapons to Star Island, and for what purpose? It was to help Star Island build their defense against me! Based on the numbers and level of firepower of those weapons you sent to Star Island, it's enough evidence to prove that you wanted me dead. You fully intended on not letting me return from Star Island alive!"

"Mr. Poole!" Sebastian pushed on. "Since you did not hold back against me, do you really think that I shouldn't take over your weapons? You never imagined that those weapons of yours would all end u p transported into my warehouse by my men. The chief of Star Island Harry Payne, who actually needed them, wasn't even close to laying his hands on them. Besides, I waited specifically until you no longer had any access to your weapons before actually entering Star Island." 1

Axel felt as though his heart had fallen into a pool filled with ice. If he chose to stay, he was only going to be mocked, but should he turn around and leave? He probably wouldn't be allowed to do so, because Sebastian was not going to let him go.

"One third," Sebastian stressed. "One third of the weapons under your authority were the maximum you could send off, and those were all internationally advanced weapons."
