The next day. It was sunny and bright outside when Sabrina woke up. She felt as though her entire body had been disassembled and barely glued back together, but somehow, she felt energized and refreshed. A shy smile appeared on her face. The two o f them had been a couple for some time now, so they had been busy when they were on Star Island and had not been intimate for half a month, but when they finally returned home with some time alone, it felt as though it was their honeymoon all over again. He had some tricks up his sleeves and so did she.
After some sleep, she found herself in a much better mood, perhaps due to the beautiful weather as well. Though she still could not find her mother, Sabrina was ninety per cent certain that her mother was still alive. As long as she was alive, there was always hope. It was at least better than her thinking that her mother was dead like she had been the past six years. Living was the biggest hope there was.
She sat up from the bed and turned around. Sebastian was no longer next to her. Sabrina left the bed and randomly picked one of his shirts to put on. She needed to find out where he went and ask if they were going to the hospital to see Nigel.
Yesterday, Nigel was immediately taken away by Sebastian's men as soon as they landed and Sabrina saw that Nigel's parents were there to pick him up as
well. She wanted to greet those two personally as Nigel was injured because of her. Though Nigel's parents might not want to see her, Sabrina had to greet them. However, with the old Master Shaw waiting at the airport at the time, both Sabrina and Sebastian had to follow him out of the airport immediately and, therefore, did not have the chance t o speak to Nigel's parents.
Sabrina stepped into the bathroom, still half-asleep, but there was no one there. She then went to the living room, but there was only Aunt Lewis going through her chores but no signs of Sebastian. Where did he go? Sabrina went back into the bedroom to take her phone and called him.
Meanwhile, Sebastian had reached the office. He woke up at five in the morning. The biggest difference between men and women was that, despite all the exercising at night, men could recover quickly and reenergize with a few hours of sleep. At five in the morning, Sebastian woke up in time and tip-toed his way out from home, before driving off to the hospital t o find the savior who helped his wife and daughter: Sebastian's cousin, Nigel. When he thought about it, Nigel used to spend all day doing nothing apart from playing around with women. But then, he fell in love with Sabrina with all his heart. From that moment onward, he became a new person. Sebastian might be ruthless, but he was far from cold-hearted. He drove all the way to the hospital and saw that his aunt and the young woman they brought back from Star Island, Minerva, were tending to Nigel.
"Cousin Sebastian?" Nigel was the first to spot Sebastian.
His aunt saw him as well, but judging from her expression, she was torn. At that moment, she resented her nephew for almost getting her son killed; but, at same time, she was scared of Sebastian's vicious ways. 1
"Aunty," Sebastian said, taking the initiative to greet her.
