Damian's status was so high that he was at least in the top three, even if he was not the number two in River City.
Therefore, they dared not show any disrespect when they saw him.
However, Damian brought no one with him. He only came here alone.
Colton's status was so sensitive that his presence here was out of place.
"Director Wool, have a seat."
Sean put down the newspaper and got up to invite Damian to sit.
Without hesitation, Damian instantly pulled out a chair and sat at the desk.
"You can say whatever you want now."
Sean sat down again and looked at the crowd.
Everyone finally understood that Sean was really waiting for someone.
He was waiting for Damian.
"Mr. Lennon, here's the thing. Jen-Bond Holdings' Mr. Thomson just had a chat with us..."
Seemingly to have become the crowd's representative, Hayden stepped forward to talk to Sean.
"What did you chat about?
"Did he ask you to join them and go against me?"
Sean asked playfully as he poured tea for Damian.
"Well... Here's the thing..."
Hayden froze and hid nothing.
"Since you agreed, why did you come to me?"
Sean gently pushed the teacup in front of Damian.
Damian sipped his tea in silence, not saying a word.
It was not yet time for him to speak.
"We don't want to make any more mistakes.
"He wants us to go against Mr. Freeman's orders and go after you.
"We don't want to do it, but they have some dirt on us.
"So..."
Hayden said, and everyone else nodded.
"So you want me to help you find a way."
Sean took over the conversation and replied with a faint smile.
"Yes..."
Hayden and the others nodded.
However, Sean stopped talking and only enjoyed his tea quietly.
Zander immediately understood and went to Sean's side to help him refill his tea.
"Why should Mr. Lennon help you?"
Zander asked, looking at the crowd with the teapot in his hand.
"Mr. Lennon, as long as we can stay out of it, we won't get involved in anything again.
"And I will never help Jen-Bond Holdings to go against your company, Mr. Lennon."
A middle-aged woman immediately took over the conversation and answered.
The others nodded too.
"Haha..."
However, Sean shook his head slightly and pushed the empty teacup forward.
Zander immediately grabbed the teapot and began refilling the tea.
The crowd could not understand Sean's meaning, so they could only stay silent for a while.
"Not enough. Pour more."
Sean said suddenly, and Zander immediately continued to pour the tea.
However, he poured the tea slowly.
Hayden and the others immediately came to themselves.
"Mr. Lennon, we can help you too."
A middle-aged man next to Hayden said with a slight cough.
"Pour more."
As if he had not heard it, Sean stared at the teacup and said again.
"Yes!"
Zander obeyed and continued to pour the tea.
"Well... Mr. Lennon, we'll help you as long as the law allows it."
"We can also help you drive Jen-Bond Holdings out of River City, Mr. Lennon."
