"Mr. Lennon, well... well..."
Dozens of employees were at a loss for words.
The bosses they had had in the past, including Jimmy, had been fond of making empty promises to their employees.
All they talked about was the vast potential for future development and promoting them to senior executives in the future.
Eventually, they did not see any future prospects nor made any money.
Sean was rather straightforward at this point.
He talked about money and not useless stuff.
"What's the matter? Don't you get what I mean?"
Sean asked indifferently, picking up his coffee cup.
"Mr. Lennon, we'd like to hear what you have in mind first..."
A young man in glasses said warily after a gentle cough.
"It means I don't need you to talk about your ideals and ambitions if you work for me.
"Do what I want to do well, and I'll give you the money you want. That's all you need to do."
Everyone felt better as soon as Sean said that.
Everyone worked to make money to support the family.
These people were workplace veterans to be senior executives.
Perhaps workplace rookies would believe the empty promises the businessmen made, but workplace veterans like them would not believe them.
They thought that with Sean newly in charge, he would give them a good kicking.
Or he would fire some people on the spot to intimidate others.
Therefore, they were ready to hear Sean talk nonsense.
They were all thinking of not taking whatever Sean said passionately to heart.
Which one of these people was not older than Sean and had not been around as long as Sean?
They could pretty much guess what Sean wanted to say.
However, they realized they were wrong about Sean.
Sean did not give them any pep talks or words of encouragement.
Talking about money was the biggest encouragement.
"Every entry-level employee gets a 20% raise.
"Anyone above supervisor and below manager level gets a 30% raise.
"Any senior executive above manager level gets a 50% raise."
Sean said casually, looking at the crowd.
"Hsss!"
The crowd was instantly dumbfounded when they heard this.
Everyone present was a senior executive above the supervisor level!
Even the lowest level employee could get a 30% raise.
It was a direct one-third increase in wages.
"Thank you, Mr. Lennon!"
Everyone instantly got on their feet and excitedly thanked him.
Getting a pay rise was something that could make anyone feel better instantly.
