Seeing Victor and Rosie, the guests quickly shut up, not daring to speak freely as they had just done.
Sean's expression did not change when he saw Rosie. The woman was friendly earlier and had spoken up for the two, but she was Victor's daughter after all.
Therefore, Sean could not confirm whether she was a friend or foe.
However, Caitlyn was excited as she yelled, "Ms. Barlowe, you're finally here. These people are so mean. They're talking bad about me!"
"I'm sorry we neglected you."
Rosie guiltily walked over and apologized to Caitlyn.
"It's alright. It's a good thing you came, Ms. Barlowe."
Caitlyn said happily.
In Caitlyn's opinion, Rosie was her and Sean's lifesaver.
However, Victor standing next to Rosie suddenly said, "Sean, you love running around and causing trouble! I have invited you here today because I have something to discuss with you, but you provoked all the guests as soon as you came. Are you deliberately making trouble?"
As soon as Victor said this, all the guests, including Jacob, looked smug.
Sure enough, Victor sided with the affluent families!
Rosie froze. It took her two seconds to come to her senses and ask in confusion, "Dad, didn't you invite Mr. Lennon for me..."
"Shut up. You have no right to speak here!"
Victor shouted.
Rosie's expression froze as she shut up sheepishly.
