Zander seemed to have prepared for the worst if he said so.

If something bad did happen, Zander would disengage and leave Sean alone with the parachute pack.

That way, he could protect Sean by sacrificing himself.

That was what Zander had in mind. Though he did not say it explicitly, it was what he had decided!

Sean said without hesitation.

He decided to give the parachute pack to the foreign woman called Lisha. The two were left with only one parachute pack, so he should assume the risk instead of his subordinate.

Zander said firmly.
