The next afternoon.
Sean and Lisha left the mayor’s residence and headed to the Harvey Tower to attend the auction organized by the Harvey Chamber of Commerce.
The Harvey Tower was located near the central square in the city center. Lisha drove Sean to the destination quickly.
After they left the parking lot, they arrived at the entrance of the Harvey Tower.
However, just as they stepped onto the steps, two security guards in suits stopped Sean and Lisha.
“Are you guys here to attend the auction?”
A security guard asked, with a suspicious expression on his face and constantly sizing up Sean.
It was because Sean’s attire was too ordinary. He did not have a single designer brand from head to toe, and he even had a long sword hanging from his waist.
Hence, such attire naturally aroused suspicion.
Most importantly, Lisha was dressed elegantly and radiantly.
When Sean and Lisha were standing together, they were like people from two different worlds, and the difference could be described as heaven and earth.
“Of course.”
Lisha said somewhat annoyed and then took out an invitation card from her bag.
The security guard took the invitation and looked at it, then understood Lisha's identity.
“Oh, you’re the mayor’s daughter. Please forgive us for our impoliteness.”
The two security guards said together with a fawning smile.
Lisha frowned and said, “Can you guys please get out of the way?”
However, the two security guards still stood in front of Lisha and Sean, not letting them pass.
“You guys don’t want to let me in?”
