Just then, Zander walked in, somewhat excited.
"Commander, it's time to go home and rest."
"Okay."
Sean gathered his thoughts and nodded.
Looking up at Zander, Sean was amused to see the look of anticipation on Zander's face.
Sean and Zander lived in the city defense army's main camp before buying the unit, so the so-called going to and off work did not exist. However, Zander was now looking forward to returning to that home, which made him slightly surprised.
"Yvonne says we're having braised beef and lemon butter fish for dinner tonight. Commander, let's hurry back."
Zander could not help urging.
'So he's eager to taste Yvonne's cooking.'
Sean laughed, got up from his chair, and prepared to go home with Zander.
However, a messenger ran in suddenly.
"Commander, Bob from the warehouse wants to see you. He says it's urgent!"
Hearing the errand runner's report, Sean frowned instantly.
Although he had assigned Bob a job, Sean never had personal contact with Bob in the army camp because he did not want the other city defense soldiers to think he was favoring Bob.
Bob was also smart as he had never visited Sean in the commander-in-chief building.
However, he now came so suddenly. Was there really an emergency?
