Summon of The Sword novel Chapter 1881

Southeast Bank was well known in Midwich, but because it was a local bank in Midwich, it did not have branches in other Dragon Kingdom cities. However, you could not underestimate Southeast Bank because it was trusted and loved by Midwich citizens. So the number of deposits in Southeast Bank was large—almost comparable to Dragon Kingdom's national banks.

"Mr. Potter, can't you bend the rules a little? Our company needs this loan, and we've given you access to our company's detailed information. You can also see our company's financial and operational status. To tell you the truth, if those banks hadn't withdrawn their loans, our company wouldn't be in financial trouble at all, and I wouldn't be asking you for help."

The director of Southeast Bank, Oliver, gave a long exhale and said, "Mr. Liamson, I'm older than you, so I'll call you by your first name. Benji, it's not that I don't want to help you; it's that I can't."

"Why?"

Benji looked in confusion at Oliver, the director of Southeast Bank.

Oliver was silent for a moment before finally saying, "Benji, you're not stupid. Have you not wondered why the several banks that have loaned money to your company suddenly withdrew their loans together? Have you thought of the reason?"

Benji's face instantly turned ghastly at Oliver's words.

It was not that Benji had not thought about it. He had thought about it, of course. He had considered it. As a proprietor and the chairman of Liamson Security Services, Benji would be an idiot not to think about it.

However, he could not figure out why. He could not understand it.

He ran a business in Midwich, and it was a security business. He had never offended anyone, yet this had happened, which puzzled him very much.

"Benji, haven't you figured out why?"

Oliver asked tentatively.

"No."

Benji said bitterly.
