Sherleen nodded slightly and continued, "Mr. Lennon, are you sure you want to compete with the Yale family for these 30 medical books? Do you have any idea what this means? The Yale family can't rule Midwich, but we have no problem dealing with one or two nobodies."
"So what?" Sean said calmly.
'So what?
'How dare the young man say 'So what?' to the head of the Yale family, Sherleen?
'He's offending the Yale family!
'Can he stay any longer in Midwich, having offended the Yale family?'
Guests were stunned and speechless as they watched Sean confront Sherleen.
The boy was an example of the old saying—"Fools rush in where angels fear to tread."
Sherleen's face was thick with anger as she said coldly, "It seems you're not from Midwich, so you don't know the Yale family's status in Midwich. Let me remind you that the Yale family is one of the top four families in Midwich! And I, Sherleen Yale, am the head of the Yale family!"
Sean smiled and said, "So what?"
'So what?
'How dare this boy say it a second time?
'He has a death wish!
'He really has a death wish!'
The guests were shocked and speechless. It was the first time they had seen a young man so arrogant in front of the top four families.
Sherleen was also mad. She laughed furiously and said with a sneer, "Mr. Lennon, it seems you're setting against the Yale family. I hope you don't regret it!"
