Midwich's First People's Hospital. Hospital director's office.
The hospital director, Jim Taylor, was sitting behind his desk, reading a book on traditional medicine.
He frowned as if he could not understand something.
"What did Dr. Humphrey do with his Thirteen Miracle Needles? Why can I only understand the surface but not its essence... It's a pity that Dr. Humphrey is dead, and no one knows how to perform his Thirteen Miracle Needles."
Jim muttered to himself and let out a long sigh.
Just then, a young male doctor came running in, clutching his phone.
"Sir! Sir!"
The male doctor shouted excitedly. His rather handsome face turned red with excitement.
"What happened? What happened? Look at how panicked you are. What happened?"
The hospital director, Jim, snapped.
The male doctor was called Heath Harold. He was a surgical intern somewhat related to Jim, so he was arranged to intern at his hospital.
However, Heath was 22 years old but still childish. Jim disliked how he was so clumsy with minor incidents.
"Sir! Do you know we have a Dr. Lennon in Midwich? Check this out. This is a live broadcast of Dr. Lennon treating people. Look..."
Heath excitedly placed his phone on Jim's desk and urged him to watch the live broadcast.
Jim sneered and said disdainfully, "Miracle doctor? Only someone like Dr. Humphrey, who has extraordinary medical skills and the heart to help the world, is qualified to be called a miracle doctor. Not any average Joe can be a miracle doctor!"
With that said, Jim looked down at the phone before him.
Jim was instantly shocked at what he saw.
