Summon of The Sword novel Chapter 2014

"I'm sorry. I was wrong, really wrong.

"I had a momentary lapse in judgment. Please let me go! A couple of guys just like you two took a beautiful woman by force yesterday. I wanted to rescue her, but I didn't expect them to be so strong.

"My buddies and I were so angry that we accidentally did such a ridiculous thing."

Sean's eyes could hardly contain his anger when he heard this.

Lamar cried even harder at Sean's reaction.

He wondered if he would have to give up his life today.

Sean glared at Lamar and said, "What did that woman look like?"

"Well..." Lamar tried hard to recall the woman's appearance. "I can't describe it! I quit school in fifth grade. All I know is that she's quite pretty. She looked like an angel even if she kept covering her face."

Sean and Zander looked at each other when they heard that.

"Could it be Willow?" Zander asked.

"It's highly possible," Sean replied before glancing at Lamar again. "Where did those people go?"

"Guys, what do you think I am? I'm just a little piece of trash. How would I know where those people went?"

Sean took another deep breath, trying hard to calm his anger.

Even though they only had one side of the story, it was necessary to look into it. After all, it was the only lead they had.

Zander said, "Mr. Lennon, there are a lot of surveillance cameras on this street."

"I know," Sean replied.

"These people won't leave a trail, so it's obvious that they're up to something. But let's check all the surveillance footage on the street first."

"Alright, I'm on it."
