Alexander spoke as if he was concerned about Old Master Carver.
He said to Sean's face, "This man can run away with the treatment fee. And you might die. I think you should check around your villa or in your home to see if he has done anything."
Sean snorted coldly at Alexander's words.
"Mr. Wonka, are you or Old Master Carver the one getting treated? Old Master Carver only needs to say one word. Whether I save him or he continues to be gravely ill is his business. Why does an outsider like you have so much to say?"
Alexander glared at Sean before wanting to say something to Old Master Carver again.
However, Old Master Carver cut him short with a wave.
"That's enough. I already suspected Dr. Lennon once. Do I have to suspect him a second time? Will I have any respect for Dr. Lennon that way? Dr. Lennon is doing me a favor by not abandoning me now."
"But..."
"That's enough. Haven't I tried your ways? Or are you afraid that my cure will prove someone is a better doctor than you?"
Alexander instantly lowered his head and fell silent.
Old Master Carver looked at Sean again.
"Dr. Lennon, how long do you think it will take to cure me?"
"At least half a month," Sean replied.
"A month at month, depending on Old Master Carver's physical quality."
"And the reward? You saved my life. You can name any price."
"We're neighbors after all. Any price will do."
"How is that appropriate?" Old Master Carver quickly turned to his granddaughter Eleanor and ordered, "Eleanor, get 30 million immediately. Consider it Dr. Lennon's reward."
