Summon of The Sword novel Chapter 821

"What on earth is it?"

Seeing the situation getting out of hand, Jon steeled himself and asked.

"Shouldn't the Zimmer family pay the money they borrowed from us?"

Chandler opened the folder in his hand and pulled out a loan agreement.

"What?"

Jon's eyes widened as his worst fears came true.

"Mr. Zimmer, Dragon Bank also ordered me to find you and get the loaned money back."

Yale was more straightforward. He went straight to the point and asked for money.

Jon was stunned, while the others around him froze slightly.

'What's going on?

'Zimmer Corporation has borrowed a lot of money from these banks?

'Has Zimmer Corporation run out of money that even these banks came to collect his debt?

'Doesn't that mean everything Jon said earlier was just a lie?

'Has Zimmer Corporation really run out of money?

'So is it true that Zimmer Corporation's stock price crashed and couldn't trade because they were short of funds?'

As they were involved, the stockholders gathered around with widened eyes.

Jon's scalp tingled as cold sweat poured down his back.

"Mr. Longman, let's enter and have a cup of tea.

"Let's sit down and talk it over.

"We're old friends. We can talk it over."

Jon wiped his forehead and invited the group to come in again with a smile.

He had no idea why Chandler and the rest would make matters worse by collecting debts at such a time.

What he knew was that he had just calmed the stockholders down. He could not let anything go wrong.

If the stockholders knew Jon was a paper tiger and had no money, they would want to sell their stock immediately.

If Zimmer Corporation could not afford the transaction, everyone would hit them at their worst, and they would be finished!

However, the people with whom he had been on friendly terms were determined not to give him face.

They looked as if they wanted to settle it in public.

"Mr. Zimmer, I'm not kidding you.

"I will lose my job if I can't get the money back today.

"So please cooperate."

Chandler said as he frowned slightly at Jon.

"Yes, I will pay you.

"But will you come in and talk it through?"

Jon lowered his voice and said imploringly as he looked at the group.

However, Chandler's expression remained unchanged as he stood where he was.
