Everyone was deep in thought.
It seemed Quill was the one trying to be someone he was not!
Sean was rich but low-key!
"I'll admit defeat! It turns out he did it on purpose.
"The best way to show off is to be low-key.
"I can only dream about a diamond necklace costing two million dollars."
The people around them spoke again.
You needed a certain level of wealth to patronize a jewelry store.
However, Sean still blew people away by spending two million dollars.
The necklace was worth twice as much as the other jewelry Quill had bought.
"I'll pay with my credit card."
Sean turned away from the necklace and looked at the store manager.
“Okay, Mr. Lennon. Just a moment.”
The store manager nodded respectfully and left to process it for Sean.
"Stop!"
However, the reluctant Quill called out to the store manager again.
"This necklace can only be mine."
Quill's next remark made the store manager look troubled.
He knew the rich heir Quill was trouble.
However, Sean ordered it after all, and his boss promised Sean would get it.
It meant Sean was a big deal.
He was only a mere store manager. He dared not offend these two big shots!
"Call your boss now.
"Say that I, Quill Zimmer, want the necklace. Let's see who he gives it to.
"Unless you want to make yourself an enemy of the Zimmer family and Jen-Bond Holdings!"
Quill could not afford that kind of money then, so he started calling his connections again.
The Zimmer family of River City was nothing to be afraid of.
However, Jen-Bond Holdings was a behemoth no one dared to look down upon.
Everyone in River City knew the Zimmer family and Jen-Bond Holdings' cooperation.
Even people outside the business circle have seen Jon and James appearing on televisions throughout River City.
Therefore, the Zimmer family's status rose, and no one dared to look down upon them.
The store manager dared not offend Quill.
Sean frowned slightly, his patience wearing thin.
Even James could not take away what Willow had her eye on, let alone Quill.
Was Quill stupid?
"Young Master Zimmer, you..."
The store manager stopped, not knowing what to do.
The surrounding male and female customers there looked at Sean again.
Sean might seem rich, but he did not have Quill's terrifying background!
Sean's money would not matter if the jewelry store did not want to offend Quill.
