Chapter 18 He Was Reluctant to Let Her Go 

Before leaving, Todd said, "Jocelyn, I'll come to you tomorrow! Tammy, daddy is leaving. I'll bring you yummy food tomorrow!" 

"Thank you daddy, see you tomorrow!" 

Tammy waved delightedly. She liked this dad who had bought her lots of delicious food and toys. It was so great! 

In her mind, anyone bought her din-dins could be her dad. 

There was nothing bad to have more than one dad. She hoped to have more dads, then she would get more din-dins. 

After dinner, Calvin went upstairs without saying a word. 

Jocelyn bathed the kids and took them to bed. After they fell asleep, she went back to the bedroom. 

Calvin leaned against the bedside, reading a book. Jocelyn went in. After hesitating, she plucked up her courage and said.

"What are you going to do now? Do you want to go with him or stay?" 

Calvin put down his book and looked up at her. 

If they had not signed the contract and got the marriage certificate, things might not have become so complicated.
