Chapter 49 The Apology

Everyone stared at Charlotte and waited for Nicholas's next step to ask her to get out of Srolanya High School. After all, everyone in Srolanya High School knew that Nicholas's temper was horrible.

But surprisingly, Nicholas just squinted his eyes when he heard Charlotte's stammering voice, and asked in a calm voice, "What's your name?"

Charlotte told him her name.

Nicholas suddenly smiled, grabbed the back of Charlotte's neck, and pulled her over to him. He smiled and said, "Charlotte, are you willing to sit next to me?"

Charlotte was surprised, "Huh?"

They thought to themselves, "What? Shouldn't you kick her out of the school now? Why are you making such a strange invitation? Wake up!"

But obviously, Nicholas wasn't in the right mind at all. He looked at Charlotte, who seemed to be in a daze and he pulled the thick black-rimmed glasses on her nose with great interest. He asked, "You aren't short-sighted. What do you wear glasses for?"

Charlotte was at a loss, "How... How do you know that I'm not short-sighted?"

Nicholas didn't reply to her but smiled. His expression brightened up, as if the person who was with a gloomy face and wanted to kill someone just now, wasn't him at all.

Reagan was confused with the development of the incident. She boldly said, "Nicholas... Charlotte is an illegitimate child!"

Nicholas glanced at her, and Reagan became silent instantly.

Then, Nicholas smiled gently and said, "What's wrong with an illegitimate child? It's not that she wants to be an illegitimate child."

He put his arm on Charlotte's shoulder and asked, "Isn't it, new classmate?"

If Charlotte heard that earlier, she must be touched. But now... There was an indescribably weird feeling.

"Yes. Yes." Eloise said against her will, "You have to help Nicholas with his homework!"

Charlotte was speechless.

Nicholas pulled Charlotte over and said, "Come here. Sit down."

A few girls headed by Reagan returned to their senses from being shocked and winked at each other. Then, Reagan said in a low voice, "Nicholas, what are you trying to do?"
