Andre: "I need him to do something for me. It's not appropriate for me to handle it myself, so I'll let him take care of it."
Mia was curious about what it might be, but her husband didn't elaborate.
Later that night, Mia went to Molly's room for a chat after dinner. "Where did you hide that super spicy instant noodles?"
"I stashed it in the ceiling. I didn't feel safe hiding it anywhere else."
Mia nodded, "When Andre is off to work tomorrow, and we have some free time in the morning, we can secretly cook and eat it. Let's not tell Hansen about this yet. I'm afraid he won't be able to resist till then.
He had had problems with his greed before. One summer, my husband bought ice cream and told him not to eat too much. He ended up sneaking some in the middle of the night and landed himself in the hospital. That's his problem. Hansen is good in many ways, but as he's gotten older, he just can't resist the temptation of delicious food."
Molly: "No wonder you didn't want Hansen to know about the super spicy noodles. You were afraid he might sneak some tonight, right?"
Mia nodded.
Molly assured, "Don't worry, I hid it really high up. He won't be able to find it."
Seeing her sister so confident, Mia finally felt reassured and returned to her own bedroom.
"Honey, I'm back." She pushed the door open to find the room empty.
She turned around and happily ran to her husband's study. She pushed the door open to find that room empty as well, so she began to act cute, "Honey, it's getting late. We should go to bed. Leo, are you in trouble again?" Mia saw Leo standing straight in front of her husband's desk. She remembered that whenever he was called away by her husband, he was usually being scolded. This time was probably no different.
Leo: "Can't you have some faith in me?"
Mia: "Well, so you're not in trouble? I'm sorry, I misunderstood." After apologizing, she went to her husband's side. The man in the chair was laughing heartily. Even though he was covering his mouth, the smile in his eyes couldn't be hidden.
Mia took her husband's hand, "We should go to bed now."
"You go ahead. I still have some things to discuss with Leo. I'll be back soon."
Mia: "Leo is so capable now that he can discuss things with you?"
Leo: "Are you looking down on me?"
Mia quickly grabbed a folder from her husband's desk and raised it as if to throw it at Leo.
Leo instinctively raised his arms to protect his head, taking a defensive stance.
"You're so scared, yet you dare to yell at me. Have you forgotten my usual temperament because I've been too gentle recently?"
Leo was just shut up.
Mia slammed down the folder from her husband's company. She pointed at Leo and warned, "When you speak, stick to the main points. If you're still here in half an hour, you'll regret it."
Leo was annoyed. What a nutcase!
Mia gave a stern warning, "If you have any grievances against me, we have plenty of time to sort them out."
For Leo, this was a nightmare. But in Andre's eyes, it was just his kitten-like wife waving her little claws, playfully scratching people. He found that this side of her was incredibly adorable.
Mia ended her tirade and left her husband's study.
Leo watched the woman's retreating back and asked, "Andre, when are you guys moving?"
Andre replied: "Can't take it anymore?"
Leo nodded directly.
He said, "You've brought Molly back, your job is done, you can take her and move out now."
Andre replied: "If we move out, there will be no one to serve as Mia's punching bag when she's angry. It's better to stay at home, at least you're here."
Leo suggested: "how about I move out?"
Andre replied: "I disagree."
Not far away in the bedroom, Hansen was lying in bed ready to sleep.
Before going to bed, he turned off the bright lights in the room, leaving only the dim yellow wall lamp embedded in the ceiling.
