"Are you awake now?" Andre asked.
Mia replied with an "Hmm."
Andre noticed the tightly held phone in her hand and squinted his eyes. "Are you looking at your phone?"
Mia answered again, impatiently asking, "Can I help you?"
Molly and Leo felt that something was off between the couple.
Mia was completely different today towards her husband, devoid of the previous infatuation. She greeted him with an icy demeanor, which was quite unusual.
Molly and Leo immediately stood aside, watching the couple had a falling out. They felt quite happy about it.
This time, Andre realized that she wasn't just waking up but deliberately ignoring him. Andre noticed that all three of them were already dressed, seemingly ready to go out. He asked, "Where are you going?"
"To study," Mia said.
Molly and Leo were speechless.
At some point, a pretext had spread within their family. Whenever they didn't want to reveal their true intentions, they would use "to study" as an excuse.
Leo and Molly had used it before, and even Mia, who usually looked down on this excuse, used it today.
However, although Andre didn't want to disturb others while they were studying, he didn't mind disturbing his wife. Besides, it was just the first day after her exams, so she wouldn't be studying yet. Andre took hold of her wrist and led her to his car.
"Andre, let go of me. I want to study, and you can't stop me from pursuing knowledge," Mia said.
Andre replied, "It's not appropriate for the three of you to study together."
When these three people studied together, Leo was usually responsible for studying, while the other two were just there to have fun.
Mia found herself being placed in the passenger seat as Andre held her.
Andre started the car and drove away with her.
Molly and Leo felt ignored. Molly frowned in regret and said, "I didn't see anything fun."
Leo asked, "Do we have to chase after them to the company to see them argue?"
"Do you dare to go to the company and watch them argue?" Leo shook her head.
"I don't dare either," she replied, shaking her head.
On the way, Mia angrily threw her bag into the car and said, "Pull over."
Andre pulled over by the roadside, and he snatched Mia's phone, unlocking it with his own fingerprint.
Mia exclaimed, "Oh my, when did he add his fingerprint to her phone?"
Andre saw the contact named "Tiger" at the top of her list, with a blocked status displayed behind it. He turned to look at the girl beside him.
Mia blinked her eyes, shocked that her husband had noticed she had blocked him so quickly.
"You blocked me?" Andre asked.
Mia pouted and replied, "You saw it, and yet you pretend not to know."
Andre inwardly scolded himself for being too worried about her. He had even made a special effort to come back earlier in the afternoon to wake her up.
"I just taught you a lesson last nigh. Are you trying to make me angry again?" Andre asked.
Mia snatched her phone back and reprimanded him, "When did you add your fingerprint to my phone?"
"Didn't you add your fingerprint to my phone?" Andre asked.
"Oh my, he found out again." Mia thought.
"When did you find out?" she asked, feeling guilty.
Andre recalled how she would take his phone without asking and play with it at home. It had become a habit.
At first, he didn't pay much attention to it. But one day, after he finished showering, he found his phone in her hands again. She didn't even need to enter a password to start playing with it, which puzzled him.
After Mia fell asleep, he picked up his own phone and discovered an additional fingerprint. He looked at Mia sleeping on the bed and couldn't help but burst into laughter.
He should have been angry, but he felt happy instead.
In the end, Mia was reluctantly taken to the company by her husband, holding hands.
"Where are you planning to go for fun?" Andre asked.
