Mia asked, "Jillian?"
"She ain't shit. Your real competition is what you gotta worry about." Hansen nonchalantly said.
Mia was convinced of her husband's affection, "No way, Andre loves me the most, I don't have any competition."
Hansen said, "Before you came along, Andre never listened to me, but he listens to everything that person says."
Mia became silent.
Hansen added, "Andre definitely didn't tell you about that person. He's afraid you'll meet her. At the party on Friday, your love rival will surely be there. Aren't you afraid of the two of them..."
"Can I bring a knife to the party?" She interrupted.
Hansen's right eyelid twitched, recalling his daughter-in-law's fierce personality, "A knife, well, you don't really need to bring it."
Mia retorted, "If I don't bring a knife, it means I'm not taking my competition seriously."
She stood up and called her husband, "Hey honey, I'm going to the party."
Andre was silent for a moment, then answered, "Let Naomi take you to pick out a dress."
Mia responded, "Pick what? Everyone else has theirs custom-made, and I want mine custom-made too!"
Andre replied again, "I'll invite the designer to our house then."
After hanging up, he told Alice, "Find a reliable designer to design a dress for Mia at the Cedillo family. Something conservative, not too flashy and just average, even a bit ugly would be best."
When the designer arrived at the Cedillo family, Mia told him, "I want a sexy dress. I want to impress everyone when I appear. I’ll be unique and the most beautiful one."
The designer was torn, who should he listen to? He asked Alice for advice, who secretly suggested, "Listen to the lady, the boss usually doesn't have much say at home."
On Friday.
The guests at the Rayner family were endless. A Rolls-Royce GHOST parked in the parking space, and Andre turned to look at his gorgeous wife.
Her dress was a bluish purple, covered with a layer of gauze, and embedded with a few diamonds. Under the lights, it sparkled, catching everyone's attention.
He had wanted a conservative design, something ordinary. But now she was dazzling him! Her shoulders exposed, her slim waist in full view. Was she trying to show everyone her smooth skin and curvaceous body?
Even her previously small chest had become fuller. Thanks to him, Mia's chest had grown a lot. Andre couldn't stand it, and he raised her dress a bit at her chest. And her makeup, Andre learned for the first time that dress designers also bring stylists and makeup artists. Her hair was piled up, revealing her beautiful neck, a pearl hairpin adding a touch of gentleness. Her makeup was delicate, a small star stuck at the corner of her eyes.
Without even thinking, Andre knew that if he showed up with his wife tonight, she would undoubtedly be the most dazzling person, "Mia, let's go home. We don’t have to go inside."
"No way, I've already brought my knife." Mia said.
"Knife?" Andre was surprised.
Mia said, "To eliminate the competition."
After saying this, she opened the car door and got out, holding her accessories and handbag. She said, "You can come or not. I've decided to go."
