She asked in confusion, "What did I do?"
Andre asked her, "Were you involved in the afternoon chaos?"
Molly curiously looked at her two friends, "Did I miss some fun?"
That afternoon, Andre was worried that his three mischievous family members would cause trouble, so he instructed the housekeeper not to let Leo go anywhere.
Since Molly and Mia were terrible drivers, Leo was their ride. If Leo was restrained, they wouldn't be able to go anywhere. Andre thought this would bring some peace at home. But he underestimated his wife and nephew's capability.
Mia was bored at home, so she decided to make some juice. Suddenly, she saw the lemons in the refrigerator, tried a bite, and found it sour beyond belief.
Holding the lemon, she asked her friend in puzzlement, “Leo, what do you think a glass of pure lemon juice would taste like?”
Leo was also curious, “I’m not sure. Should we give it a try?”
So, bored Mia and Leo squeezed half a glass of lemon juice. Looking at the juice in the glass, they both hesitated.
"Leo, how about we play rock-paper-scissors and the loser takes a sip?" Mia suggested.
Leo thought this was a bad idea. He said, "We have a foodie at home. Why should we try it ourselves."
So they both looked at the old man playing games in the living room - Hansen.
Hansen passed a level in the game and he was clapping cheerfully for himself.
Mia pushed the pure lemon juice to Leo, "Your turn."
Leo was brave enough not to fear causing trouble, so he took the lemonade over. "Grandpa, I have something good for you. This drink is refreshing and good for your health."
...
After hearing this, Molly was very curious. She didn't sympathize with her dad at all, but was eager to know what would happen next. "And then?"
Mia said with her head down, "Dad took a sip, it was so sour that he couldn't open his eyes, his mouth kept watering, then he got up with his cane to hit Leo, but he couldn't catch up, and sprained his ankle in the process. Now he's in the hospital for X-rays."
After hearing this, Molly laughed to tears. Looking at her brother who was scolding with a stern face, Molly laughed, "Sorry, haha, but I really can't help but laugh at dad."
Andre seriously reprimanded his sister, "You didn't participate in this, did you?"
Molly shook her head, and immediately distanced herself from them, "I had nothing to do with this mischief. It was all your wife and Leo."
Now Molly couldn't wait to see her father's expression.
In the hospital, Hansen, accompanied by his son and daughter-in-law, first saw the dentist, his mouth still flowing with sour juice. But it didn't stop him from cursing his offspring, "I'm so unlucky to have such troublesome children in my life. When I get back, I'll soak their heads in lemon juice, let's see if they dare to make me suffer."
Naomi was trying to hold back her laughter, but seeing her father's crooked mouth, spitting out the sour juice while cursing his son, she just couldn't help it.
The doctor asked Hansen, who was sitting in a wheelchair, "Hansen, why did you drink such a sour drink today?"
Hansen started cursing again, "Those two mischievous kids at home, always thinking of pranks. They said they prepared a drink for me, claiming it's good for my health, so I took a sip, and I ended up drinking it all. When I get back, I'll definitely give them a good lesson."
The doctor added, "At your age, you should drink less."
