It had been over a year and Cooper had gotten taller. Mia had to tilt her head up to look at him when she saw him again.
There was no emotional hug or teary reunion between them. Instead, Mia was chasing Cooper around, trying to hit him.
"Why did you come back instead of focusing on your studies abroad?" Mia asked furiously.
Cooper dodged and answered, "Mia, you must be scolding Leo a lot at home. Your 'beating up' skills have improved."
From a distance, Andre watched his wife's violent actions, helplessly rubbing his forehead. What a hot temper she had.
Angrily, Mia grabbed his luggage, "Let's go home!"
On the way home, their taxi passed by Andre's car. Mia made eye contact with Andre in the car, then guiltily looked down.
On the other hand, the Irvin family couple finished their meeting and saw calls from their children on their phones.
Aaron called his daughter first, "Mia, do you need something? You called us."
Mia said, "Yes! Cooper's back."
Aaron was shocked, Cooper was back? "Where is he now?"
Mia glanced in the direction of Cooper's bedroom, "He just took a shower after a night on the plane."
Learning that Cooper was at home, the couple immediately went home, not even going to the office.
Cooper, freshly showered, looked around the familiar house, "Mia, when do you start school?"
"The day after tomorrow." Mia said.
"I'll take you." Cooper said.
Mia asked her brother, "How many days are you back?"
"I took two weeks off." Cooper said.
Mia wanted him to go back to school as soon as possible, "You don't need two weeks. Two days is enough."
"I want to see who called your name last night. I'll stay home for two weeks, pick you up and drop you off every day. I don't believe I won't be able to find him." Cooper said.
...
Mia stayed at home for two days, and the Cedillo family didn't ask about her, because she had a loving husband, Andre, who went home once and told his family that he and his wife were going to Maplewood Estates for a few days. Hansen happily agreed.
These days, she stayed with the Irvin family. However, she started to miss Andre.
So one night, when everyone at home was asleep, she quietly left the house.
At Maplewood Estates, Andre saw his kittenmia in the living room.
"Why are you back?" Andre asked.
"I missed you." Mia said. After Mia finished speaking, she pounced on her husband, hugging him tightly and kissing him.
Andre hugged her waist with one hand, held her head with the other, pressed her on the sofa, and deeply kissed her. All the longing of these days was kissed back. Fortunately, she still had a conscience and remembered that she had a husband. That night, Mia stayed at Maplewood Estates.
The next morning, she returned home stealthily with a mark on her neck.
On the first day of school, Cooper personally took his sister to school.
When Cooper asked Leo and Molly about Mia, they all said in unison, “We don't know.”
Sometimes, Mia would sneak off to see her husband when she had no afternoon classes.
And then, she would quietly return home on time. A lawful couple sneaked around like they were having an affair.
Andre was in a bad mood all week and Noah was scolded as a result.
