Coleen immediately shot Mr. Kendrick a worried look, "What happened to Chad?"

Mr. Kendrick explained, "A few days ago, the higher-ups sent someone to re-investigate Officer Rubin's case. He's Mr. Marlow's student after all, and he snitched on Chad behind his back. Bruce and I intercepted him right away. Bruce used his position to vouch for Chad's innocence."
