Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 336

Coleen got wind of Hansen's quirks and chuckled, "What a lively old man he is."

Molly agreed to play a game with her dad before sending him off to bed. Coleen sat by her daughter, waiting patiently for her to finish the game before starting a chat.

Once the game was over, Molly put down her phone and lay down next to her mom, "Mom, is there something you want to talk about?"

Coleen said, "I'd like to chat about your brother."

This piqued Molly's interest and she turned to look at Coleen, "What's up with him?"

Coleen reminisced, "When you were little, you were super dependent on Chad. He was the first one to find you lying on the beach. He pointed you out to us, and after you woke up, all you kept calling for was your brother. You wouldn't let go of him and kept saying you were scared and didn't want to leave him."

Molly propped her head on her hand, "And then what, mom?"

Coleen continued, "Then you just clung to him for 15 years. In the winter, if he wore a black trench coat, you wanted one too. If you couldn't find one, you'd cry until I had one made for you. He got a new bed, and you wanted to sleep in it first. When he went off to college, you got acquainted with the campus before him. If I didn't buy you something you wanted, play a game or cooking something you wanted, you'd go to him. Your brother accompanied you to watch movies, took you on trips, and helped you buy clothes. Molly, what role does Chad play in your heart?"

"My brother." Molly answered immediately, without a hint of hesitation.

Coleen asked, "Then why did you open the door for him today wearing only a towel?"

Molly squirmed, "I used to walk around the house wearing just a towel all the time and you guys never said anything. Besides, who knew the towel would come undone today. Mom, can we drop this? It's super embarrassing. I'll be more careful at home."

Coleen sighed, she spoke to her daughter kindly, "There's more to it than just this. You're grown up now, and you can't be all over your brother all the time. You guys are siblings, but you should keep a certain distance. You're always hugging his arm, and resting your chin on his shoulder. Even your dad and I don't do that. What do you think his girlfriend would feel?"

Molly pouted, "He said he doesn't plan on getting a girlfriend till he's 30."

"Is that what I'm talking about?" Coleen said.

Molly pouted even more, "I get it, mom. You think Chad and I look like a couple."

Coleen was at a loss for words.

Molly continued, "I'll be more careful, mom. I'll keep my distance. I'll even wear a sign saying 'I'm Chad's sister, not his girlfriend'."

Coleen laughed and gave Molly a light tap, "Molly, I'm not joking. Your dad and I know how close you are with Chad, but you really should be careful. You should also have more male friends besides your brother. You should expand your social circle and don't just automatically turn down people who invite you out. Participate in more activities. It will benefit you in the future.”

"Mom, aren't my dad, my nephew, and my brothers all guys?" Molly retorted.

Coleen felt like her daughter was just arguing with her, she got up and started fixing Molly's blanket, "But can you be friends with them? You're in college now, I support you having a relationship. If you meet the right person, you should try getting to know them."
