After Mia and Leo hung up the phone, they gave Molly a round of applause. Mia asked, "Molly, you're such a smarty pants. Have you ever considered joining my husband's company after graduation? My husband is Andre."
"Thanks, but I haven't thought about it yet。" Molly said, picking up her utensils to start eating.
Leo asked, "Molly, what would you say if someone told you they were a die-hard supporter of a certain political party?"
Molly, who was eating, replied, "I'd say sorry, we're not a match."
"I've learned something," said Mia.
As Molly was eating her steak, she looked at Mia, who was pregnant, and said, "Even if you've learned something, you won't use it."
Mia sighed regretfully, "Ah, I got married too early. Actually, I should have let my husband pursue me first, then agree to date him, face some difficulties during the process, and finally get married and have kids."
Leo said, "I think my uncle, who's running the entire Cedillo Group, probably doesn't have the extra time to chase after you and go through hardships with you."
"I'm just daydreaming." Mia said.
While they were enjoying their meal, Molly suddenly asked, "What's the name of the new movie? I'm going with my brother."
"Correction, your brother is going with you," Leo said.
...
Later, Jack called Molly several times, but Molly always turned him down saying she was busy studying. Jack still didn't give up. He told Molly, "Molly, I won't stop pursuing you."
Molly responded, "You better say that to my brother."
After hanging up the phone, Molly complained, "Has he decided to never give up on me in this lifetime?"
Mia asked, "Should we tell Andre?"
Molly shook her head. "There's no need to bother Andre with such a trivial matter. Only big issues are worth his attention."
Summer cicadas were chirping, and June was scorching hot.
Someone was pursuing Molly, but Molly just said, "I'm super busy!"
Because Chad was about to go on a business trip, he called Molly. Molly even skipped class to meet him. Mia accused her of having double standards, but Molly proudly said, "That's how we, the Cedillos, roll."
The heatwave of June was hitting hard, and summer vacation was just around the corner after exams. Mia checked her 12 courses and was planning her review when she got home at night.
Andre came home from work and sat on the sofa, watching his wife crouched on the carpet, making plans seriously. He loosened his tie and looked down at his wife who had been writing for half a day. "What problem are you working on?"
Mia shook her head and answered him, "I'm making a study plan."
Andre grabbed her arms and pulled her up from the floor. Then he picked up the paper she had been writing on for half an hour. "What does this 6 mean?"
Mia replied confidently, "I plan to get up at 6, finish washing up at 7, start studying at 8, and keep studying until 11. From 11 to 2 is my lunch and nap time, and from 2 to 5 in the afternoon I'll continue studying. After 5 is my prenatal education time, then dinner, and then rest."
Andre looked at her plan and thought it was okay. "Why did you shake your head just now?"
Mia frowned. “Honey, I think getting up at 6 is too early. I can’t do it. The study time from 8 to 11 is too long, and I can’t concentrate. The nap time is too short. I’m afraid I’ll wake up at 4 in the afternoon. It’s time for dinner before I even start studying. And you’re back before I even start studying. When you’re back, all I want to do is be with you.”
Andre hugged his wife’s waist, glanced at her belly, and laughed while putting the study plan on the table. “Send me your exam schedule.”
