Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 353

Finley asked again, "Any news on the Cedillos lately?"

Finley's personal bodyguard and driver, Tom, nodded, "I heard Andre's wife is also pregnant."

Finley's eyes widened in surprise. He turned to Tom, "The Cedillos are expecting another one!"

Tom nodded, "Yes, Hansen has told many people." Except for Finley.

Finley clenched his fists, his jaw tight. He asked, "Is Mia expecting a girl or a boy?"

"The Cedillos have kept it a secret. According to Hansen's friend, Hansen seems to want a granddaughter."

Finley stood up, walked to the window, and stared out into the night. With his hands behind his back, he asked, "Is Holly expecting a girl or a boy?"

Tom hesitated before answering, "The doctor said... it might be a girl. They will know for sure at Holly's next appointment."

Finley's eyes darkened. "Next time, you take her to the hospital."

"Understood."

Around eight in the evening.

After freshening up, Mia, heavily pregnant, moved slowly to her husband's side. She laid on his back as if asking him to carry her. Her arms wrapped around his neck, as she put her cheek against his ear, "Honey, what did your dad want to talk about?"

Andre turned to face her, "Dad asked me to investigate the Waltons. Nothing else."

"Why did he do it behind my back? Am I not your sweet wife?" Mia asked, fishing for information.

Andre changed his position, pulling her into his arms. "Have you ever heard a good kitty brag about how good she is?"

After a while, Andre asked, "Why didn't you tell me the first time you saw them at the hospital?"

Mia did not understand what had happened, so she told the truth, "I was in a hurry to use the bathroom and forgot. Today I saw them by accident. I know our families are at odds, I didn't want to say anything, but I couldn't help it."

Andre held her gently, "Mia, you can be carefree and playful with others, but you must stay away from Finley and his family. They are a different kind of trouble."

The more Andre said, the more curious Mia became. "Honey, is there some secret feud between our families?"

Andre thought about his father's speculation in the study. He looked at his wife's belly and warned her, "Mia, you must take care of yourself, and our child."

Mia pouted, "You make it sound like I'm in danger."

Andre pinched her lips, turning them into a duckbill, "Don't talk nonsense."

After a moment, Andre asked his wife, "Mia, can we move up the prenatal checkup by two days?"

Mia suddenly remembered her husband was going on a business trip, "Are you leaving so soon?"

Andre nodded, realizing their prenatal check-ups were on the same day, and that his wife could potentially run into the Waltons at the hospital. He was worried that his wife, with her inquisitive nature, would be curious and approach the Waltons. If they did the checkup two days earlier, he could leave earlier and be at peace.

Mia didn't think much about it. As soon as she heard her husband was going on a business trip, she was all over him.

"Honey, I don't want you to go…" Mia started to cling to him.

Andre was silent, he held her and lightly kissed her lips.

"Honey, be faithful when you're away."

Andre kissed her again.

"Be a good husband."
