Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 369

Chad walked over to his mother and sister, "Work not done yet?"

Molly immediately walked over and affectionately linked arms with Chad, "Bro, I've finished, it's just that mom doesn’t believe in my capabilities."

Coleen asked her son, "What brings you here?"

"Picking up your darling daughter from work. If I didn't come, she was all set to spend the night at the office."

Waving at her mother, Molly said, "Mom, my brother's here to pick me up, so I'm leaving now. We won't be home for dinner tonight, see you later."

With that, Molly walked out of the office with her arm looped in Chad's. As they walked away, their voices could still be faintly heard, "Bro, what should we eat? I was looking at roast lamb online earlier, but it's too big for just the two of us. How about we go for a roast suckling pig instead?"

Chad responded, "A whole suckling pig, you think you can finish that?"

"Well, you've got a point."

The office was still in shock. The handsome, imposing man who just left was none other than the son of Chade Inc.. What was more surprising was how spoiled the little miss seemed to be.

Coleen placed the papers she was holding back on her daughter's desk and looked at the manager, "Come with me."

The manager was startled, unsure what the CEO wanted to discuss with him. The remaining office workers were also speculating.

They knew that Coleen's daughter was interning at the company, leading them to wonder why the little miss had suddenly decided to intern.

Some said the rich people's daughter was just looking for a job to pass the time and to have a decent job to her name when she got married.

Others suggested that the real reason for the internship was that the CEO wanted to groom his daughter to take over the company in the future.

"But doesn't the CEO have a son? Why would he want his daughter to take over?"

"The CEO's son is a police officer, he would have to resign to take over the company."

"Why would anyone want to be a police officer when they could run a company?"

"Let's not try to figure out the thinking of the rich."

...

Secretly, not only the staff was internally conflicted, but even the executives were conflicted.

The manager just didn't know what to do with the spoiled young lady.

Coleen had figured that would happen, so she called him out.

In the car, Molly was still struggling with what would be better to eat when Chad asked her, "How much do you make in a day when a dinner is estimated to cost at least $300 ?"

"Brother, don't look down on me. At worst, after I finish this meal, I won't go to a restaurant for a month."

Molly still couldn't find a place later. Chad drove her to his old college campus, "You used to love the duck pot here. You haven't had it since I graduated, let's have it again tonight."

Molly's face lit up with delight, "That's right, how did I not think of that?"

Chad's college was surrounded by a variety of budget-friendly and delicious dining options. When he was in college, his sister used to visit this place quite often.

The most memorable time was when his high school friends came to visit. He didn't know which place was good, so he called his sister for advice.

Usually, the place was packed. But since it was the summer break, most of the students were home and it wasn't as busy.

Sitting in the restaurant, Molly ordered several dishes without even looking at the menu.

"Bro, what were you up to today?" she asked.
