Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 503

Coleen was fuming, the kind of fuming that made her want to grab the nearest pillow and scream into it. One moment she was all calm and collected, and the next, she was storming back into the hospital room, demanding to speak with her so-called best friend's significant other. "Chad, get out here right now!"

Her son, who couldn't hide his smirk, got an earful. "Go on, your highness is throwing a fit again, calling you out by name."

Chad stood from his chair and ventured out into the hallway.

There, Jade's face was as red as a ripe tomato. "Mia never said that, you liar!"

Chad shrugged. "Oh, is that so? Guess I'm getting old and my memory's betraying me."

"Chad!" Jade was grinding her teeth so hard she could've turned a lollipop into dust.

Back at Maplewood Estates, Andre, who had just tucked his son into bed, braced himself for Mia's tirade.

"You lied, Andre! Molly never told you any of those things about me!"

Her voice was so loud it woke up their sleeping son, Henry, who started sobbing from the commotion.

Mia scooped up Henry, patting his little back, and shot Andre a glare that could freeze lava. "You're such a despicable, dirty, conniving weasel. You're sleeping alone tonight; we're still on a room break!"

Just when it seemed like peace was on the horizon, the men's foolishness had pushed their women further away.

When Hansen Cedillo later visited Maplewood Estates to see his grandson, he bombarded Mia with questions about the upcoming christening party. "Mia, have you sorted everything out with Andre? Have you arranged the custom gown, the invitations, the venue decorations? How many tables are we setting? Oh, and—"

"Wait!" Mia interjected, her hand up for pause. "Dad, one thing at a time, let me get a pen."

Hansen couldn't help but feel a sting of worry. "You mean to tell me you haven't arranged any of this yet?"
