Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 563

Leo lounged in a corner booth of the coffee shop his mom had invested in, eyes glued to his laptop screen. He'd been scrolling through online posts, but any potential barriers? His Uncle Jack could handle those with ease.

Two laptops were set up beside him, and he’d even commandeered the shop’s computer. The phone call still ongoing, Leo said to Anya, “I’ll send you a few IP addresses in a bit. Forward them to your aunt and uncle using your name.”

Anya, with her blend of innocence and sharp wits, replied, “Chad, did you find something you can’t tell Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mike directly?”

“Mhm.”

Leo’s fingers danced over the keyboard, tracking down the person who had posted the photos. Once he had the info, he shot the domain details over to Anya. “This is the one spreading Mia’s photos and stirring up hate online. Send this to Jade and just say it’s from Barbara.”

“Why not send it to Aunt Sarah?”

“Your aunt will turn to Uncle Mike for help. He’s a cop and specializes in catching these creeps.”

Anya was puzzled. “I have an Uncle Mike?” What had she missed?

Meanwhile, Leo was already back on the hunt, convinced that the elusive Tom was stirring up trouble.

Sure enough, by afternoon, a smear campaign against Andre flooded the internet.

“When Andre took over Ashford Inc., young Jack Ashford didn’t agree. Andre used underhanded tactics to make him disappear and secure the acquisition, all to corner the fashion market.”

“And the downfall of the Marshal Group? You bet Andre had a hand in that too.”

Conspiracy theories were brewing and multiplying...

Mia wasn’t too worried about the online trolls, but her brow furrowed with concern.

She gazed at her baby son sleeping in her arms, a little bundle whose temperament had grown challenging. He would only sleep peacefully in her arms; the moment she set him down, he’d cry.

Cradling her son, Mia walked into her husband’s study.

Andre was seated behind a cherry wood desk, his computer open in front of him. At the sight of his wife, he looked up. “Mia, put the phone down. Take our son and get some rest.”

“Honey, can we get our son’s pictures taken down?” Her nonchalance had faded since becoming a mom, and her primary concern now was their little boy.

Mia had her reasons. Andre’s son wasn’t just any child; she had never liked the idea of exposing him to the public eye. The risk of kidnapping or harm was too great, and his father’s status could attract unforeseen dangers.

Having navigated the business world for years, Andre had made plenty of enemies. His current standing meant that those who resented him didn’t dare speak out. But if they targeted his son, Mia’s worries were justified.

“I’ve already ordered it,” Andre reassured her. “Photos of you and our son will be deleted from the entire net.”

Mia pouted, looking down at the sweet-smelling infant with concern, “But people have already seen what he looks like.”

Andre’s laugh was comforting. “Don’t worry. When our boy grows up a bit, loses some baby fat, no one will recognize him.”

Shortly after, Andre received a message from Anya. “Uncle, here are some real account details behind a foreign virtual ID, from a friend. Might be useful to you.”
