Naomi quickly intervened, "Andre, you were just saying you'd help Leo find a wife. If you shave his head, he's gonna look all weird, and girls probably won't be into him anymore. Then he won't be able to find a partner."
"Oh… Leo's on the hunt for a wife now?"
Leo, terrified, stared at his uncle, his throat bobbing, legs shaking. "What, a wife?"
Mia's interest was piqued at once. She excitedly ran up to Andre, tugging at his sleeve, "Andre, who's Leo's wife? C'mon, spill the beans."
Andre scrunched his eyebrows, Mia's way of addressing him seemed to be ever-changing.
"What did you just call me?"
"Mr. Cedillo, Andre, darling? Oh, just spit it out… I wanna see if I know her." Mia's curiosity made her overlook her flirtatious behavior towards Andre.
Finally hearing a term of endearment he liked, Andre's expression softened a little, "Not sure yet, you being Leo's aunt should be more concerned about his marriage."
"Of course, it's my duty."
Mia's eyes darted around. She slyly glanced at the immobilized man, grinning, "Leo, don't worry. As your aunt, I'll definitely look out for your matrimonial affairs. I'll help you find a gentle, virtuous, wise, and rational partner."
Seeing things spiraling out of control, Naomi immediately grabbed a servant, "Quick, go fetch Hansen to save Leo."
The servant, aware of the situation in the living room, hurried upstairs to disturb the Cedillo family patriarch's siesta for the sake of Leo's hair.
"Sir, there's trouble."
...
Back in the living room, Andre was already brandishing a shaver, ready to get started. Once he sorted out the hair situation, he could leave with Mia ASAP.
"Hold on, Andre, what are you doing?"
An elder's roar halted Andre's actions.
"Grandpa, save me, grandpa." Seeing his savior, Leo's eyes welled up with tears.
At that moment, Leo felt grateful his grandpa was still around, still had a say in the Cedillo family, and wouldn't let his uncle have his way.
But Leo didn't know that, if Andre decided on something, nobody could interfere.
Just then, Mia spoke up, explaining to the suddenly appearing Hansen, "My hubby's just giving Leo a haircut."
A haircut meant shaving his head.
Andre shot a glance at Mia beside him. She actually managed to come up with that.
Leo's grandpa appeared, and he waved off the servants restraining Leo, freeing him. The liberated Leo immediately made a run for it.
His speed left Mia with her mouth agape. She thought to herself, “If only he could run this fast at school, he wouldn't have lost to me so many times.”
Leo's grandpa looked at the couple side by side, then at the shaver in Andre's hand. "You two..."
"Do you want a haircut too? A business tycoon is doing it personally, and it's free," Mia cheekily asked.
Hansen frowned, pointing at his head, "You want me to shave my head?"
Mia started talking again, pointing at Hansen's head, "Your hair's almost all gone anyway, might as well shave it off. It'll make washing your hair easier."
The room fell silent. Didn't Mia know she was stirring up trouble? Of course Andre knew! He put down the shaver and immediately led Mia away by the hand.
As Mia was still dazed, there was a commotion in the living room. Mia was already pulled into the bedroom by her husband.
She asked, "Andre, did my comment just anger Dad?"
"You had the nerve to say that."
Mia was the first in the family to dare mention Hansen's balding.
