Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 640

On the couch, the bride-to-be was absolutely smitten with her chubby little nephew, tirelessly caring for him every day.

All kinds of festive decorations, tiny red lanterns, and long red carpets were delivered to the Cedillo household.

During this time, Chad swung by too. He had submitted his wedding leave application, which got approved quickly. When he arrived at the Cedillos', he said with a grin, "I'm here to help out."

Everyone knew the score. With so many servants and family members around, what help was really needed? It was all about seeing certain people.

Holding the child, someone remarked, "Chad, look at Henry. Isn't he just like a little fish, blowing bubbles with his mouth?"

Henry let out an indignant "Ah!"

His aunt chimed in, "See, he admits it."

The air was festive, everything bathed in red.

On the branches, tender buds were adorned with tiny red lanterns. At the sight, the little guy immediately abandoned his toys—his drum, rattle, and rubber ducky. None of them seemed appealing anymore. His eyes were fixed on the strings of red lanterns, reaching out to grab them.

Mia and Anya shared meals every day, not letting it interfere with their classes.

Videos of Henry occasionally popped up in the family chat group, and Mia would immediately share them with her own family, the Irvins.

Cooper Irvin was probably the most excited, exclaiming, "Oh my, how can my little nephew be so adorable, totally skipping over his mom's looks."

Cooper was also the most surprised, "Sis, is your father-in-law turning seventy? Why all the red decor, making it look like something else?"

Since Andre was also in the group, Madison Irvin immediately made an international call to her son, giving him a piece of her mind about the recent happenings at home. Soon after, Cooper was shocked again, "What? Jade's getting married? To Chad?"

That's when Mia chimed in, "Yep, come back for the wedding."

Sometimes, Mia, a novice, wasn't sure about wedding gifts.

At night, kneeling on the bed with her son slowly becoming more agile at rolling over and then smiling at her for praise, Mia gently stroked her son's back. Then, looking at her husband drying his hair after a bath, she asked, "Honey, how much should we give for Molly's wedding?"

Andre, sitting on the edge of the bed and pulling their son into his lap, replied, "Just match what big brother Naomi is giving; don't exceed what Dad's giving. That should be fine."

"Naomi asked me today how much would be appropriate. I told him I'd ask you tonight."

That evening, Anya also went to knock on Leo's door.

"Who is it?" Leo, busy at his computer desk, answered gruffly.

Anya said, "Chad, it's me."

"Oh, come in," Leo's tone softened as he hung up the call to open the door for Anya. "What's up?"

Anya shared her dilemma, "Aunt's getting married. Should I give money? I read online that even bridesmaids give money."

Attending a wedding as an adult for the first time, Anya was a bit lost.

"You're not grown up yet, not married, no job, not graduated, you don't need to. They might even end up giving you money," Leo reassured her.

"So, I just show up to eat?" That seemed awkward to her.
