Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 766

Cooper always preferred seeing his nephew in person rather than through a phone screen. Whenever he spoke, he stood right next to the little guy, his large hand gently holding the tiny foot, reluctant to let go.

“Sis, have you and your husband booked the rooms yet? If not, I can call the hotel and get two rooms reserved. Whenever Mom and Dad visit, I always book in advance.”

Mia replied, “Your brother-in-law already handled it. He booked a suite and reserved an extra room for you.”

“Thanks, brother-in-law,” Cooper said with a smile that bore an uncanny resemblance to Mia’s, which only those who truly adored Mia would notice.

Seeing Cooper’s smile, Andre quickly glanced at his son, wondering if Henry’s smile resembled his own or was more like Mia's.

But then, looking down, Henry let out a big yawn, making his father chuckle.

Without lingering too long, they headed to a restaurant for dinner.

“Sis, how long are you planning to stay?”

“We came specifically to see you. If everything goes well with your brother-in-law’s work, we’ll be here for about a week.”

Cooper was pleasantly surprised; his sister’s visit made him happier than even his parents’ visits.

That afternoon, Cooper took some time off work to show his sister’s family around the school.

At home, the phone remained silent as everyone was sound asleep.

Molly woke up sweaty from the heat, partly because Chad, who radiated warmth like a furnace, was snuggled close, making it hard for her to move away. She managed to slip out of bed and adjusted the air conditioning to cool down the room.

Awake now, she began scrolling through her phone and noticed Mia’s location check-in on Facebook. Molly liked the post and commented, “Saw Cooper?”

Soon after, a private message came through, “Why aren’t you asleep?”

“Woke up feeling hot. Chad’s like a heating pad, always has to be right next to me,” Molly replied. They chatted for a bit until Chad, waking up briefly, saw her on her phone. He playfully confiscated it and placed it on his bedside table, “Time to sleep.”

Molly said, “Chad, there’s something I need to tell you.”

“Mhm,” Chad responded with his eyes closed.

“I’ve mentioned this a few times already. During intimate moments, please don’t kiss my neck so hard. It’s fine in the winter; I can wear a scarf. But in the summer, I’m running out of excuses. Mom noticed the marks yesterday morning. How embarrassing is that?”

“As long as you’re not embarrassed, the only person who should be is our mom.”

Molly, trying to keep the conversation serious, said, “Just be a bit gentler, and it’ll be fine.”

Chad held her close, “Alright, I’ll be more careful tonight. Let’s sleep.”

Molly, “…”

As dawn broke and it was time for Chad to head to work, he remembered his wife’s complaint from the night before. Lifting Molly’s robe, he admired her delicate, fair neck, sometimes finding it hard to control his strength in moments of passion, knowing he should leave no marks.

After adjusting her robe, Chad left for work.

Coleen had instructed the staff to set aside some breakfast for “a certain sleepyhead.”

Without asking, she knew her daughter hadn’t woken up yet.
