Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 770

Mia took a swing at her brother, but Cooper, having been on the receiving end of her kicks for years, saw it coming. He dodged effortlessly as she aimed her foot at him.

Henry, watching the scene, found himself liking his uncle even more.

"Sweetie, what's up with those two? Are they giving Cooper a hard time?" Mia asked.

Andre simply replied, "No."

"Then what are they up to?" Mia pressed, her curiosity piqued.

Andre knew his wife all too well—if he said they were admirers, she'd be on cloud nine for days. So he fibbed without even blinking, "They're just some loan sharks."

"Loan sharks? No way! We're broke! I'm a total cheapskate!" Mia's frugal side kicked in instantly.

Cooper glanced at his brother-in-law in surprise, while Andre smiled with satisfaction. "Exactly, we don't know them. Just stay away, and if they try to talk to you, just say 'no!'"

Mia nodded earnestly, "Got it, love. I always listen to you."

Cooper clapped in admiration as they headed downstairs.

Walking between the two men, Mia carried a small bundle of joy in her arms.

"Why are you clapping?" Mia turned to ask her brother, with Henry mimicking her and looking at his uncle.

Cooper replied, "I admire my brother-in-law."

"Why do you admire him?" Mia turned to ask her husband, with Henry copying her again.

Andre said, "Because I'm his brother-in-law."

Mia muttered under her breath about asking a silly question and exchanged a look with her son.

Instead of returning to the hotel, Andre drove them straight to dinner.

That evening, Henry was left with his uncle, much to Cooper's delight and Mia's dismay.

"Honey, what did I do wrong this time? Why are you mad at me?" Mia, with her keen intuition, found herself pinned down and immediately asked, her voice tinged with a whine.

"Am I mad?" Andre asked.

Mia nodded, and then her clothes started coming off.

"Honey, didn't you promise to sleep with the kids tonight? What's going on?" she protested.
