Cooper was juggling his little nephew, Henry, in one arm while tidying up the table with the other. Henry, with his chubby cheek against his uncle's shoulder, was quietly watching the people standing in line.
Michael, who loved snapping photos of just about anything, thought Henry looked familiar—like the son of a wealthy heiress he knew. But the heiress, Mia, wasn't around, and the man with the baby wasn't her husband, Andre. Michael shrugged it off, thinking all babies had that same adorable chubby look.
Unable to resist, Michael took out his phone and snapped a picture of Henry's cute little face and Cooper’s back. Right at that moment, Henry turned his face towards Michael and babbled, "Mmmah, gah, bababa~," as if he knew he was being photographed.
Cooper chuckled and said to Henry, "Your mom's at home catching up on sleep, so it's up to your favorite uncle to take you out. Remember, it was Uncle who flew back just to hang out with you. You better be nice to your uncle, alright?"
Henry, trying his best to alert Cooper about the guy taking pictures, babbled excitedly, "Ahh, blah, mmm!"
Cooper put a sun hat on Henry, joking, "Seems like your mom and dad aren't as dependable as Uncle."
Meanwhile, Michael thought Henry was waving at him, so he waved back, convinced the little guy liked him.
As Cooper and Henry were leaving, Michael waved goodbye and then sent the picture to Mia, saved in his phone as "Rich Heiress," with a message: "Hey, doesn’t Henry look just like your son? Such a cute, chubby kid."
Mia, who had slept through the morning and woke up to the afternoon sun, was feeling great. She thought she might've lost a bit of weight by skipping breakfast and lunch, thanks to her late-night workout.
She zoomed in on the picture Michael sent her. Her motherly instincts kicked in, and she sat up, brushing her hair aside, revealing playful marks from her husband on her shoulder. She closely examined the round, chubby face and wondered, "Could it really be?"
"This can’t just be a coincidence," Mia thought, seeing the uncanny resemblance to her own son.
She texted Michael back, "Why does he look so much like my son? Where did you see him?"
Michael replied, "At the amusement park. But it wasn't Andre with him. The guy holding him was handsome, though."
The more Mia looked at the photo, the more she was convinced it was indeed her son. She hadn't even noticed the man holding Henry.
As Mia began to fret over the possibility of her son being kidnapped, she minimized the picture and recognized Cooper's back. Those clothes were unforgettable; she and her mom had bought them for Cooper last year. She could never forget that back and head shape.
Mia quickly messaged Michael, "That's my son!"
Cooper had taken her son to the amusement park!
"Your son got kidnapped?" Michael, alarmed, chased after Cooper and Henry, then sent a voice message, "No wonder the kid was shouting and waving at me. I thought he was saying hi, but maybe he was asking for help."
Mia quickly replied: "He wasn’t kidnapped. The guy holding him is his uncle."
By now, Michael had caught up with Cooper and Henry.
He confronted Cooper, "Who are you?"
"And who are you?" Cooper shot back.
Pointing at Henry, Michael asked, "Is this your kid?"
Cooper replied, "Of course, he's my nephew. Who else?"
Henry watched the two with big, innocent eyes.
