Tangled in his Obsession novel Chapter 202

After hearing this, Leandro slightly furrowed his brows and turned to look at Conway.

Conway immediately let out a sigh and said in a compliant tone, "That's just how it is, kid. You may not care, but our generation respects tradition. You should be more careful too, going on a business trip right before your wedding. If you hadn't gone to Europe, you wouldn't have been delayed on your return and you would've been able to see Seraphina these past few days."

As he spoke, Conway plopped down onto the sofa.

Leandro understood that Conway was actually annoyed at him for the risk he took in coming back, even though he had safely returned. The anger seemed a bit excessive, but Leandro had no intention of upsetting Conway further tonight.

He checked the time, nine o'clock at night, just a few hours before morning.

"I'll head back to Reynolds Vista Retreat then," Leandro said, then turned to Conway, "Grandpa, get some rest early. You need to wake up early tomorrow."

Conway hummed softly in response, not saying anything.

Leandro didn't say much either, just instructed the driver to prepare the car.

By the time he stepped out, the driver had already started the car and was waiting for him at the door. As Leandro emerged from the house, the driver promptly opened the car door for him, but Leandro did not immediately get in.

"Mr. Reynolds?" The driver was slightly puzzled.

"I'm gonna have a smoke first," Leandro replied.

This meant that he would only get in the car after finishing his cigarette. The driver immediately nodded and stepped aside.

Instead of standing in place to smoke, Leandro walked into the garden.

Snow was falling heavily from the sky. As Leandro stepped out from under the porch, a layer of white snow landed on his shoulders. The driver saw this and wanted to bring an umbrella, but seeing Leandro standing quietly under a tall jacaranda tree in the garden, he immediately stopped in his tracks.

Leandro stood under the jacaranda tree for a while, lit a cigarette for himself, then turned around and looked up. His gaze fell on a window on the second floor of the house.

The night was exceptionally cold with the heavy snowfall. The window emitted a bright orange light, soft and warm.

Leandro just stood there quietly watching. The cigarette had unknowingly burnt to the end, but he didn't notice.

Until... the window suddenly opened.

Seraphina was leaning on the window, looking at him. She was wearing very thin clothes and had a satisfied smile on her face.

She didn't say anything, and neither did Leandro. They just stared at each other quietly for a long while, then Seraphina suddenly reached out her hand and made a beckoning gesture to Leandro.

She smiled mischievously, knowing full well that Conway and Karan were guarding the living room and he couldn't possibly go upstairs.

The more this was the case, the more enthusiastic she was.

Leandro watched her quietly for a while, then turned and walked towards the car.

Half a minute later, the car started and slowly exited the mansion's gate.

A minute later, there was suddenly an extra person in Seraphina's room—

A man who had taken off his coat and was wearing only a shirt, had climbed in through the window.

The moment she saw him, Seraphina couldn't help but fall back onto the bed, laughing.

"I thought you had left," Seraphina said, "Didn't the driver just drive off?"

Leandro was adjusting his shirt and trousers, not responding.

The driver did indeed drive off, but the car only carried his coat.

Seraphina once again ran to the window to curiously look out for a while, then turned around and looked at him, "How did you climb up? I didn't see anything to climb on here."
