Temptation From Her Ex-husband novel Chapter 1036

The incident came to Scarlett's mind when she came back to the school. She usually didn’t remember such trivial things.

Seeing that Alexis got worried, Scarlett smiled and asked, with a deliberately slow tone, "Didn't you say that after you got married, you would tell your husband about your history at school to let him know how popular you were among guys then? Now that you're married and pregnant, I think it's time to tell Justin the stories."

"No, no. I was silly. Forget about it! I’m begging you."

A few days ago, a guy who used to chase Alexis called and asked Alexis to shoot a promotional ad for his company. Right after Alexis hung up the phone, Justin leaned over on the couch and asked her if it was that guy. Alexis admitted it. Then Justin sneered, "You have a good memory." Alexis had nothing to say. If she hadn't been pregnant, she thought she probably wouldn't have been able to get out of bed that day.

If Justin knew that Alexis still kept those love letters, she dreaded to think what Justin would do out of jealousy.

"How could I forget about it?" Scarlett said with a smug on her face. Noticing the waiter coming over to serve the food, Scarlett moved her cutlery aside. She added, "We have plenty of time anyway. Since you brought up the gossip, why not we reminisce about the sweet past?"

Alexis instantly got abashed. She was afraid Scarlett would tell Justin about the two hundred love letters. She begged, "I was silly, Lettie. You and Raymond were made for each other!"

"Well, you're getting smarter."

Inexplicably, Alexis felt a sense of mockery in Scarlett's words, "I'm not that stupid."

"Who is the one keeping secret love letters behind her husband's back?”

"Well, I just haven't gotten disposal of it."

Scarlett looked at Alexis and dropped the subject. "Food’s coming up. Let's get started.

Alexis was relieved. She didn’t dare to bring up any gossip anymore.
